B Series Long Holding Time
![]() |
Long time storage and transport of biological samples in small canisters.
- Straws and vials storage
- Liquid, vapour storage
- Long time storage
This generation of “long holding time” and “large capacity” containers are designed for use in biology, research, pharmaceutical and medical fields, livestock breeding, … and enables storage of straws or cryovials.
The high vacuum multilayered super insulation from the inner space limits the nitrogen evaporation and provide very good conservation performances. The samples are placed in round stainless steel canisters (included) directly in the LN2 inside the vessel.
For the user’s safety, the lid’s latching device avoids a sudden gushing of liquid nitrogen should the container be tipped over. The lid may also be padlocked.
A low level alarm (DEN-unit) may be used to warn the users in case of too low nitrogen level.
The vessels is made with aluminium allow with a fibreglass/epoxy neck.
The units are made in France and manufactured according to the highest quality levels All units of the B 2000 series are CE-marked, and comply with theMedical Device Directive 93/42/CEE.

(1) = In bulk in the canisters. The daily evaporation and static holding time values are given considering a stable ambiant Temperature 20°C, and amtospheric pressure of 1013mb, container static, original plug in place. The nominal values may vary according to manufacturing tolerances.
(2) = In bulk in goblets
(3) = only possible in high canisters
